BEARS Team Working Agreement

Our Team Working Agreement puts a spotlight on what we value when it comes to working together as a team. If other more important things come up during the course of this Phase 3 our agreements can and will adjust. Items that become a habit and no longer a concern can drop as our team evolves.

  • Use good Slack etiquette
  • Slack over Email
  • Respond with an emoji if you've read a link or announcement
  • Project-related chat should default to TTS Slack for communication & transparency
  • Meetings are effective; have a purpose, agenda, & outcomes
  • Use good calendar etiquette
  • Schedule meetings in a way that allows for concurrent hours of heads-down work
  • Do not double book, ask to adjust
  • Be transparent in our work
  • Over-communicate
  • Document research findings & outcomes
  • Any work should be in Trello & update the card as you work, learn, & close
  • Own It! - Default to owning something until you know someone else has taken responsibility
  • Design with ATO in mind
  • Focus the work in thin vertical slices
  • Be flexible as life happens - no need to apologize :)
  • Build trust
  • A few minutes of social time helps things run smoothly
  • Don't be afraid to say "I don't know"
  • Give kudos for positive & helpful stuff
