If this issue only occurs in one browser, which browser is a problem?

Chrome

Describe the Bug

If you publish a theme on the Astro portal page and then go back to edit it (updating a link, the title, or anything else), you will receive the error message ‘Featured image is required’ when clicking on ‘Edit Theme,’ even though an image is already present. The only way to continue is to re-upload the image.

ps: I realized that you can just click on Edit Theme without changing anything to reproduce it.

What's the expected result?

to persist the image and return that error only when the image is actually empty

Link to Minimal Reproducible Example

it's not astro related
