Import a CSV of members sets password to weak(1)

I'm using the Import/Export CSV extension to import a bulk list of members into my Attendees section for a conference.

The passwords have been generated using a script and meet the minimum requirement we've set for the password field.

Import works great, but the password import seems to set the "password" field to "weak(1)" length or so it seems.

Is this an Import CSV issue (I'm guessing it is) but wondered if there is something that should be set in the extension from a members point of view to trigger a successful import?
