Throw better errors

Throw better errors / or successes with better details. Use cases where we don’t return a value (We should be able to return the actual response (and everything else) for external code to process)

This is probably a breaking change.

We just got hit by this in our CI at NBA - the rekeying and package signing via roku-deploy just timed out - it took some investigation to work out there was a compile error in our build; be great to get errors in surfaced that we can catch, in those situations.
