We did not manage to solve WFLYJPA0033: Can't find a persistence unit named X in deployment with Wildfly 20, mysql8, and either EclipseLink or Hibernate.

Switching to an older version of Wildfly, ie. 15.0.0, solved the problem for us. The ReadMe should probably state that newer Wildfly versions shall be avoided.
