Exactly how proficient in React should you be before and after completing the course?

Is it a learning course designed to take someone from new to React to ready to contribute to React based deliveries?

Is it an examination designed to prove the subject is already a skilled practitioner?

Is it somewhere in between?

I think core skills need to be grounded in Delivery - to me that implies grounding in practice not in theory. There’s a reason the academy has very little theory.

By the end of the react core skill we would expect the person to have created a react app that demonstrates all the criteria covered in the core skill. There'll only be theoretical sections in Hedgehog/Fox as Owl is more focused on demonstrating those skills.

As we go forward we might find that the theory is less valuable so we could move move stuff forward into Hedgehog (e.g. Show us examples of props, state, etc etc) but I think that'll be discussed once we have more people taking it

Although this discussion seems more relevant for #45 rather than here, which was focused on the aim
