Issue that this suggestion fixes

Currently multi-day events without a meeting link as well as normal meetings without a meeting link fall under the "other" category.
I tend to care about the normal meetings and want them to show normally in meeting bar. However the multi-day meetings I would rather be able to set as showing inactive as they matter but seeing them all the time in my taskbar is not helpful.

Solution description

Adding a new setting in Appearance under the Events section for multi-day events which would allow you to set how you want those events to be treated.

Alternatives considered

Alternatively I could see this being combined with All-Day Events as, at least in my case, I am likely to want to treat them the same.

I think this would also help address "Out of office" events that Google Calendar adds. They seem to be treated differently than all day events.
