Another possibility is to use Patsoptaas to allow the reader to try on-line some examples in the book.
You may also use Patsoptaas to provide solutions to some of the exercises in the book. I found some of my students really liked it.

Umm.... I think that Patsoptaas needs some JS issue.
I would like to explain programming on patscc to get Metasepi project team members in future.

You only need JS to run ATS code. For typechecking, no JS is needed.
