TYPED_TEST_SUITE throws "auto parameter not permitted in this context" and "expected constructor, destructor, or type conversion"

Hello everyone.
I am writing a series of typed unit tests for this particle optics library.

I have currently this test which i have initialised like this:

public:
    UniformCartesianTest() {}
};


using Precisions = ::testing::Types<double, float>;

TYPED_TEST_SUITE(UniformCartesianTest, Precisions);

TYPED_TEST(UniformCartesianTest, Constructor1D) {
    int pt = 10;
    ippl::Index I(pt);
    ippl::NDIndex<1> owned(I);

    TypeParam dx                      = 1.0 / TypeParam(pt);
    ippl::Vector<TypeParam, 1> hx     = {dx};
    ippl::Vector<TypeParam, 1> origin = {0};
    ippl::UniformCartesian<TypeParam, 1> mesh(owned, hx, origin);

    TypeParam length = mesh.getCellVolume();

    if constexpr( std::is_same<TypeParam, double>::value ) {
       ASSERT_DOUBLE_EQ(length, dx);
       ASSERT_DOUBLE_EQ(mesh.getMeshVolume(), 1.);
    }
    else {
       ASSERT_FLOAT_EQ(length, dx);

When compiling, i get the following error log:

Any ideas of what might have happened? I will be happy to provide more details.

• Compiler is gcc/10.2.0
• CMake version 19.3.1
• Running everything on Linux RedHat Enterprise

Are you running an older version of googletest? TYPED_TEST_SUITE used to be called TYPED_TEST_CASE

I tried, and it worked. Thanks! It was a bit unclear on the wiki, since it seemed like TYPED_TEST_CASE was before 10.2.0
