Page refresh not working

Hi all,
Hope someone can help me out.
Love this theme, especially the merging, one of the best features and I don't understand why this feature is not there by default for all themes.
My problems are:

1. when going to the dashboard the 1st time nothing is merged and I have to manually refresh the page and then everything is becomes merged again.
2. when the dashboard is merged, activating a switch works but doesn't refresh the state, so by clicking it again it tries to turn it on again instead of off. I have to manually refresh the page and then it works.

When 1st going to the dashboard and nothing is merged then all switches work as they should.
I tried clearing cache and using different browers but have the same problem.
Hope someone has some ideas of what is going wrong.

There is no support for this theme anymore. I now use Webthings Gateway.
