Semantic Tasks Release Notes

These are the release notes for the Semantic Tasks (a.k.a. ST) extension. See also the extension's page on mediawiki.org:

Version 2.1.0

Released on 2022-09-xx

  • Minimum requirement for
    • PHP changed to version 7.3 and later
    • MediaWiki changed to version 1.35 and later
    • Semantic MediaWiki changed to version 3.2 and later
  • Tasks can be disabled setting status "Closed"
  • Sends reminders to groups and CCs
  • Sends notifications to groups together with Assigned to and CCs
  • It does not send notifications on null or minor edits
  • Adds compatibility with SMW 4.x and MW up to 1.38
  • Introduces $stgNotificationFromSystemAddress using wiki $wgSiteName and $wgPasswordSender as a From address for tasks notifications emails (thank you to vedmaka)
  • Updated translations (by translatewiki.net community)
