It's hard to solve a problem when important details are missing, that why we added this template, to help you and us.

General informations

Operating system : Ubuntu Server 22.04.4
Perl version : 5.34.0

OCS Inventory informations

Unix agent version : 2.10.0 & 2.10.2

Problem's description

If I use the agent for SNMP scans I get the error below.

[debug] checking XML [error] Invalid XML: not well-formed (invalid token) at line 5, column 7, byte 87 at /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/perl5/5.34/XML/Parser.pm line 187. XML::Simple called at /usr/local/share/perl/5.34.0/Ocsinventory/Agent/Network.pm line 107. [error] Cannot submit XML! Abort...

I've tested this with different machines, different agent versions and different subnets with different devices. I've read this #381 (comment) which would be great to find the error in the xml. But the stdout option disables the SNMP scan:

[info] [snmpscan] Agent is running in local mode...disabling module

Inventory log file ( optional )
